We’re Stephen and Tara — a husband-and-wife duo with a love for all things biltong. With more than 14 years of experience (including running a successful shop in London), we know what it takes to craft truly authentic, mouthwatering South African snacks.

Now happily settled in the beautiful Lake District, we launched Biltong Buddy to bring a taste of home to fellow Saffas in Cumbria — and to anyone who appreciates proper biltong made the right way.

For us, this is so much more than a business. It’s about family, flavour, tradition, and community. Every bag of biltong and every stick of drywors is made with care, using only the best ingredients, because we believe our customers deserve nothing less. We set high standards for ourselves and our products — and we’ll always go the extra mile to make sure you get the quality you expect.
